| All of our bars, except bar rentals, operate under The Licensing Act 2003. With regards to Licensing, venues fall into 2 categories: |
| |
| Licensed Premises |
| |
If the venue is a licensed Premise and you are wishing just to rent our bar equipment and not resell any alcohol, you do not need to obtain a further Licence.
If we are to operate it then we need permission from the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) and also confirmation that the times you want the bar to
operate are within the times permitted by the venue Licence.
If the required hours are outside of the normal permitted hours, then the same proceedure needs to be adopted as the unlicensed premises below. |
| |
Unlicensed Premises |
| |
If the venue is not Licensed, providing that the event is for less than 499 people, a Temporary Event Notice can be obtained.
As personal licence holders we can organise and pay for this as part of our service or we can assist you in applying for it.
We therefore become the license holders and we are responsible for the sale of alcohol in these premises. |
